2025 Reading

First glance – when it was just the cards the year looked pretty kind, then a bunch of runes landed upside down to show us all the places we can choose to grow. To get more clarity I ended up using 2 cards and one rune for each month. 

The energy rounding out 2024 and continuing through all of 2025 is this- adapt or stay stuck. We have been given a great opportunity to challenge our assumptions and decide again what we want to believe – about ourselves and the world. Real change happens when we see ourselves and the world around us without our biases and assumptions. We need to see the world as it truly is in order to change it. 

Overall 2025 will be a time to slow down- to really pick your battles. What are your 4 most important values? You will only have the space to fight for your most aligned values as there will be a lot of change this year. 

There will be so much brought up to be healed that it may feel overwhelming. So choose where you want to focus your attention. 

We are also going to go through another expansion in our gifts as a collective. So if you are caught up in the drama of the week you may miss some important messages coming in. 

 This year is tricky and nuanced. Please use discernment when reading through – it will be a year with a lot of personal accountability. It is time to look at what you hold on to from the past and acknowledge your part in creating your current situation- good or bad.

I would urge everyone to really do the work in January and February – as those same issues will come up again in later months in different forms. 

 Let’s see what each month has in store. 

January 

This month can be a hugely transformative one if you are willing to face your attachment to being the underdog. There is an amazing opportunity to have real change this first month. 

How attached are you to feeling trapped, like your life is not in your control? 

We fall into roles in our lives and our relationships sometimes without challenging what that role is supposed to look like. If you do not happen to resonate with the assigned role, that will eventually lead to resentment and anger. 

Another way to look at it – What are you learning from feeling trapped? 

People will let us off the hook for all sorts of things when we are in a bind. Do you subconsciously keep yourself in a bind to avoid responsibility? 

The more that we own what is ours, the more we can see how much power we really have. Staying in anger is a way to give that power away. 

Yes, there are legitimate reasons to be angry – but not all anger is constructive. You must learn to discern when the anger is hurting you vs helping you. 

This is the month to deal with your anger head on. 

Beliefs to check: 

  • I am learning from my anger. 
  • I like to be angry. 
  • I need anger to get through the day.

February 

There will be an energy of constraint this month with no obvious cause. It is our need to see our own flaws nibbling at the back of the brain.

We face the consequences of refusing to see the truth in ourselves, and of refusing to change. 

If every single one of someone’s ex partners are “crazy” – it is logical to look at what they all have in common – they all dated the same person. So did they drive the partners to behave erratically, or is that just their perception of them, or are they addicted to drama and calling in partners who will supply the drama they need. 

It is very uncomfortable to think that we are the ones causing the situations in our life that are causing us pain. Even worse when one realizes that the situation may be entirely in our heads. 

Stories are powerful. 

What are the stories that you are attached to – as part of your identity? 

What if those stories could change? Imagine what is possible if you let go of your stories about yourself and others and allow yourself to see the deepest truth in all.

True self acceptance comes from true self knowledge.

  • Everyone else is the problem. 
  • On any level I am afraid of change. 
  • It is easy to see the truth in myself

March 

Compassion – for yourself and those around you is called for this month as it will be both intense and magical. 

Many people are still going to be very raw from the last 2 months, and things are not slowing down at all. Instead a wave of upgrades to spiritual gifts are coming in response to global events. The more solid your practice has been till now, the smoother the transition. 

But the whole planet is going through this upgrade together and even people who swear this is all bunk will be experiencing new sensations and it will be a huge adjustment. 

The more holistically you can see your health the better – answers in that arena may not be that straightforward. Some mystery illnesses may push people towards unique cures. 

Beliefs to check: 

  • It is safe to be psychic,
  • I allow others to live their own lives. 
  • I am allowed to work with my gifts.

What stops me from being compassionate to others? (or to myself) 

April 

Now we get to take a breath, relax, and have some laughs. 

This is a great time to start new creative projects, meet new people, and be in the flow.

Bust out the art supplies or tackle big projects that you have been putting aside. This is the best month for a while to get a lot of great things done.  

A lot of creative energy is flowing and people will be looking for new connections. 

Don’t feel obligated to do belief work this month if you feel great about your friendships. Take this time to rest as it is going to get bumpy for the next few months. 

Belief work

  • I know how to let my friends really know me
  • It is safe to tell my friends that I love them 
  • I am allowed to have many friends. 
  • I am creative.

May 

Nope, we simply can’t keep doing the same old things, being the same people and expect to be comfortable this month. It is time to transform into the highest version of ourselves.

One fear that we hold when it comes to growing is that we will lose friendships or family if we change too much. That may happen. But that is just an excuse to stay in low vibrations. When you take the plunge and change because it is your time – they will either uplevel with you or choose to stay in their vibration. 

Self transformation is an act of trust – that your future will continue to get better. 

One could choose not to change and the repercussions of that decision will be felt on many levels. That will put some people back the energies we worked through in Jan and Feb. 

One of the big shifts – is in learning how to truly communicate our emotions effectively, and to truly hold space for others emotions. This is the time of openly and homely sharing our souls. Both in the expression and the listening. 

So some may need to let go of the need to use truth as a weapon, or to use tears or guilt to manipulate.

  • I know how to express my feelings. 
  • I know how to really listen to others. 
  • I will still be loved after I heal and change.

  • Or How do I want people to see me? 

June

You may find yourself falling out of sync with people around you. Do not fight it, but also avoid burning any bridges yet. If someone is not getting what you are trying to get across – it may be time to walk away. Do you really need to be fighting that fight right now? 

Give each other space rather than trying to convince anyone of anything. (for now) 

When one is out of sync it is merely the universe helping us see a way to grow without needing to be dramatic. Sometimes we get really subtle signs that things need to change. 

This month is calling for us to take out time with decisions. Get comfortable saying “Let me get back to you on that”. Give yourself the space to really know what you want. 

There is a lot going on under the surface with everyone, as we all navigate a new relationship to our inner selves. 

The energy established in this month will carry forward for a long time. Choose now who you want to be going forward. 

Belief work: 

  • People have to see things my way or I am invalidated. 
  • I am allowed to have boundaries with people I love. 
  • It is easy for me to find the ones who really get me.

July 

Issues of safety are going to be huge this month. With good reason as a lot of things are going to be changing. Especially for those who have had it really easy for a long time will experience a new kind of discomfort. 

This is yet another month where those who have been hiding their heads in the sand (honestly  probably not reading this blog) and refusing to change are going to feel very left out. There will be anger and disruptions, lots of interesting things going on in the courts. 

The feeling of being unprotected with be both on a large scale (government – world events) and in our personal lives (memories of feeling unprotected as a child) 

The trick is to understand that you do have power. Little old you CAN make a difference in this world. That you are now in a place where safely is possible. 

The collective consciousness works like this: we all contribute to it with our beliefs. It is a truly democratic energy. When we do deep belief work – we change the belief in ourselves and for our descendants. This shift goes into the collective consciousness and others feel the shift and choose to shit with us. It is subtle, but it adds up over time. 

Belief to check: 

  • I am powerless.
  • I can change my country.
  • On all levels I am safe. 

Journaling: 

Write angry letters to whomever or whatever you are mad at and burn them. Best if 10 pages each topic. 

August 

Allow yourself to grieve, to feel all the things. Your emotions are valid and you are allowed to feel all the things you are feeling right now. 

It is easy to feel defeated this month especially as new and very loud voices are countering your perceptions. 

Sometimes these voices of opposition help us heal and grow, sometimes we need to unsubscribe from the conversation. Not everything being said is worth listening to. 

Know your truth and stick to it. 

No beliefs to check – simply do all the self care things that you know work for you. 

September

Learn to live in the energy of exploration. Instead of “I don’t know” try saying “I am in the inquiry – I wonder what is next” 

Because the universe is holding its cards close to the chest this month. There are things that simply will not be revealed yet. 

There will be so many good surprises this month. New jobs as the economy shifts – not necessary booms – just a shift in how people spend their money. 

All the hard work you have been doing this year is paying off, so catch the waves of opportunity as they come in this month. 

Beliefs to check: 

  • I know how to take action. 
  • I am comfortable with surprises. 
  • I know how to recognize an opportunity.

What do I make it mean when I don’t know the answer?

Bonus: Get ahead for next month by facing your fears real and imagined. 

Journal: If my fear came true what is the absolute worst thing that could happen next. Keep following the thread until you find the true fear at the end of the road. 

October

There are 2 opposing energies this month – things will be moving quickly around you that need to be adjusted to – and the desire to stay perfectly still. 

The movement this month may feel like a tsunami if you stay in the fear. If you embrace change and flexibility it can be a fruitful and wild ride.  

The stillness comes not from the need to connect from a place of fear. The more work you do ahead of time the smoother this month can be. The energy of the month alone is going to trigger a response in our survival selves – so even if you think you are fearless you will have something coming up to be faced.

Journaling prompt: Follow all the “what if’s” until the end to find out what your fears are really about. 

November 

This will be a quieter time to reflect after the dust of the last few months settles. 

There will be an urge to retract to our respective caves and figure out what the heck the universe has been trying to teach us with this very dramatic year. 

There will be old wounds resurfacing as we reflect on recent events. 

This is an excellent time to do a lot of journaling. Or if you have the means and freedom to put yourself in a transformational retreat of some kind. We will all be cracked open and ready to heal so many things. The time is right for deep self reflection. 

So much wisdom is available if you do the inner work this month. This is a good month to clean up any of the work you did not get around to doing earlier in the year.

Journal on everything! No specific prompts. Likewise follow what is up in your heart for the beliefs to check. 

December

Even though this tends to be a very social time of year, follow what you are feeling. Some of you may still be keeping to yourselves or only socializing with a few. 

December is about truly honoring yourself –  this has been a year of deep discovery so allow yourself the time to discover who you are going forward. Hold on to that vision of the new you and set your boundaries accordingly. 

The other lesson coming in – if you didn’t already get the message, we all have free will. Which means you have no control over the choices of others – simply over your response to their choices. It is hard to watch people decide to destroy themselves or refuse help, but each of us is walking our own path.

  • I honor the decisions other make for themselves
  • I know how to let other people live their own lives. 
  • It is safe to be fully myself.
